All on 4 - 6 Dental Implants

All on 4 or 6 implant treatment is a treatment method that is used in completely edentulous patients and enables a fixed dental prosthesis to be fitted on the same day by placing four implants at certain angles. This method is applied to patients who have bone deficiency in the back of the jaws or who have lost all their teeth. With this treatment, patients can have fixed teeth on the same day.

For the All on 4 or 6 procedure, the patient should not have any health problems and should have sufficient bone volume. If the patient does not have enough bone, additional surgical interventions such as graft insertion or sinus lifting operations can be performed.

The stages of All on 4 – 6 application are as follows:

A detailed clinical and radiological examination of the patient is performed and planning is made according to the results of computed tomography. On the first day of treatment, 4 or 6 implants are placed according to the plan and temporary dentures are fitted on the same day. Three months after the surgical intervention, permanent dentures are prepared and fitted.

The features of All on 4 – 6 treatment are as follows:

Fixed dentures are provided to edentulous patients on the same day. It does not require surgical procedures such as sinus elevation or bone grafting. Personalized planning is made. It is easier to maintain and clean than other implant treatments. It is suitable for patients who cannot use removable dentures or who suffer from nausea. Treatment planning can be completed in fewer sessions and is therefore a practical option. The All on 4 – 6 implant treatment can be applied to patients with sufficient bone volume and without health problems that may prevent implant surgery.

The advantages of this treatment include

Achieving fixed teeth and reducing the pressure on the jawbone. Prevention of bone loss and preservation of the jaw structure. Providing an aesthetic appearance and comfortable use. Being more cost-effective and not requiring additional surgical procedures.

After All on 4 implant treatment, patients must regularly use the medications recommended by the doctor and pay attention to their eating habits. In addition, hard foods should be avoided and a soft diet should be followed during the temporary prosthesis period. After permanent prostheses are inserted, normal nutrition can be resumed.
